Logo and brand colours

UK Fitness Events is a site that enables athletes of all levels to search thousands of sporting events and challenges across the UK in one easy to navigate place. The brand has a big focus on inclusivity and championing the mental health benefits of exercise too.

UK Fitness had some established branding in place when I began working with them, however it was in need of a refresh to better reflect the approachable and vibrant nature of the brand, which I where the new choice of logo and colour palette came into play.

The new colour palette uses a bright acid green against darker backgrounds. The pop of colour adds freshness and vibrancy as well as being synonymous with the hi-vis gear often seen in sports fashion. The simple sans serif font from the original logo has also been replaced by a bolder font that feels more informal and has a bit more character .

Training guides

UK Fitness Events is a brand that is constantly evolving and adapting it’s offering to users and subscribers. As well as having useful content on their website to support people in training for events, enjoying exercise and reaping the mental health benefits of excercise, they were keen to begin offering downloadable resource guides too.

The guides that I have designed so far include an Ultimate 5K Run Guide and an Ultimate 10K Run Guide. Both feature a unique branded layout for UK Fitness Events which is easy to read and visually engaging. Each guide also includes easy to follow training plans for runners of all experience levels.

Social media assets

I have also provided both blog and social media content support for UK Fitness Events, including the creation of branded social media assets.

The social media tiles make use of the brands logo, font, colour palette and styling. It also includes some hashtags that were created as part of the brands wider social media plan including #BeTheBestyYou #FitnessThursday and #MondayMotivation.
