Branding - The Listening Project

The EIC Listening Project is a podcast series covering all things utilities and innovation, with views and thoughts from some of the industry’s key players and those that innovate within it.

As the energy and utilities sector is often viewed as a more corporate and even ‘stuffy’ environment, I was keen to shake thing up with the branding on this project and create a look that represented an exciting and engaging platform where disruptors in the industry can have a voice. I went with bold graphical visuals which also complemented the EIC’s own branding colours, maintaining that familiarity and expanding the reach of the EIC’s brand identity to new platforms such as Spotify and iTunes.

In print - The Listening Project Q&As

Alongside the podcast, printed materials were also produced to support the EIC Listening Project.

The Listening Project Q&As booklet takes the most compelling questions and answers gathered from the series and brings them together in a visually engaging format. The booklets were primarily designed as a marketing resource to be taken to events to introduce the podcast, and included the same graphic style and colourways used in the cover art, and also utilised QR codes to direct people to the podcast episodes online.

Digital assets

As well as producing the cover art to be used across audio platforms and streaming services, I also produced a series of social media tiles to support the marketing for each episode.

The tiles showcase the featured speakers of each episode in the familiar graphic style seen throughout the Listening Project branding.
