How Hero Studio began: My not-so-secret identity…

Hi, I’m Kelly! Hero Studio began when I started to take on freelance work alongside my usual 9-5. I was working in digital communications, managing social media and developing content for a small business. Whilst I loved what I was doing, I yearned to do more things with branding and graphic design. As a result, I felt like a needed more challenges and opportunities to flex my creativity! So, that’s when I started picking up some extra work as a freelancer.
Since then, I’ve worked with a huge variety of businesses. I’ve worked with big and small businesses from various sectors, working on everything from business cards to full brand implementation. In addition I also have academic experience obtained through my First Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the Birmingham School of Art. From my studies I developed a deep rooted understanding in visual communication and how a brand can make us think feel and respond. I think about the whole brand persona from visual elements to values and written communications.
Based in Warrington in the North West, I specialise in working with small businesses and start-ups to develop authentic brand identities. Above all, I provide the support, guidance, and experience necessary to kick start a brand that demonstrates value to you and your customers.
