How I work with you
Developing a brand isn’t always easy, but the process doesn’t need to be painful either!
When you invest in branding work with Hero Studio, you aren’t just paying for a logo, you’ll be getting my guidance and expertise throughout the process. I’ll be on hand every step of the way from when you get in touch to make sure you end up with a brand that delivers true value and impact for your business. Find out more about my process below!
My straightforward process
Discovery
The discovery stage is where we’ll begin with an initial call (or email, or a coffee if you prefer!). It’s a great chance to have an initial chat about your business and your needs, and for us to get to know one another. Questions are the key to discovery – I’ll have some about your business, values, ideal customers and goals, and it’s also a great opportunity to ask me any questions you might have too! If you’re happy to progress, I’ll send over some T&Cs and request a 50% down payment, then we can get cracking!
To help keep things simple and straightforward I’ll send you my tried and tested branding questionnaire to help define your brand’s perfect visual identity.
Proposal
Once you’ve filled in your questionnaire I’ll use your answers to start formulating some initial ideas for your branding. I’ll organise a consultation call and use my expertise to delve into how your brand should feel to you and your customers, and how it will stand out against your competitors. I’ll also produce a mood board to help you visualise what I’m proposing. It’s a great initial taster of the direction your brand will be developing in and also an opportunity to fine tune some initial ideas. Once we’re agreed on the proposal for proposal I’ll move onto designing!
The Design
This is the exciting part, where you’ll start to see your branding coming to life! I’ll get to work on designing three initial concepts based around your proposal and present them back to you. You’ll then pick your favourite concept and we can move onto fine tuning and tweaking through two rounds of revisions to make sure your final branding is on point.
Once the design is nailed down, I’ll get to work on producing all your branding assets ready to hand over to you.
Handover
It doesn’t have to be goodbye, but this is the stage where I’ll send over your finalised assets and talk you through your brand guidelines and how to use them. I’ll also include a handy file guide to explain which files are best for print, digital and any other applications.
Like I said, this doesn’t have to be goodbye! We can talk about any additional assets or marketing materials you might need too or look at some retainer work to support the launch of your brand.
